The goal in designing these fish was to ensure that, upon seeing them, customers and anyone else interested would recognize them as a representation of Yin and Yang in different colors.

In this case, I chose green and blue to form one pair, pink and orange for another, and black and white for yet another.

I wanted to design them because I’ve always found the meaning of yin and yang fascinating, and I thought that using complementary and contrasting colors would make the reference clear.
