The idea for these creatures, which I’ve called Cosmic Comets, came from some entities that appear in a TV series and from which I wanted to draw inspiration. I wanted them to convey a sense of mysticism and to feature vibrant colors, so I chose colors such as purple, red, and blue, and I wanted them to evoke, in certain ways, the ocean or the universe.
